| Pride Day 2009 is set so mark your calendars for July 12th 2009. We will be holding our Picnic once again at Heart Lake Conservation Area. www.trca.on.ca located on Heart Lake Road just north of Bovaird. The event is free but there is an admission charge into the park, $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and free for kids. The picnic will run from Noon until 4pm rain or shine. Please note, with the extention of Hwy 410, you can drive north on 410 to Sandalwood Parkway exit, go west to Heart Lake Road and then North on Heart Lake Rd. The Conservation Area is just North on the West Side. This year the first 200 participants will receive a Rainbow Umbrella, perfect for keeping the bright sunshine off of you during the picnic (no rain allowed this year!!). Also, bring Fifi or Fido and dress them to the nines, there will be a prize for the best looking pet (sorry no partners included) so bring out your "family"! We are also holding a Pre Pride Day warm up party on Saturday July 11th. We will be returning to Norma Jeanes. The event will run from 9pm until close.
